WHO WE ARE
Olga Borisova is a medical doctor around specialism of Neurology and Acupuncture, educated in the past at higher medical school in St. Petersburg, Russia, graduated in 1997. Dr Borisova was practicing medicine in her specialty in St. Petersburg municipal clinic before moving to the UK. The acupuncture studies were taken since 1995 and updated regularly afterwards until nowadays.
An independent unsupervised professional practical skills in acupuncture have been successfully developed since 2001 in Russia prior to moving to the UK. Doctor of Medicine since 1997, general medical professional experience is 15 years in total with developed skills from Physician Assistant-Laboratory Technician to Doctor-Neurologist-Acupuncturist.
Her Clinical interests include pain relief generally, Neurological Conditions, Rehabilitation after stroke including patients with paralysed extremities, Migraine and Headaches, Backpain, Sciatica neuralgia, Stress, Depression and Anxiety.
She enrolled the acupuncture course in the UK for confirming her acupuncture skills.
The post graduate education completed in the UK, at Manchester Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2023. Two-year course in Acupuncture completed with 200 hours of practice at the MATCM AcuHealth clinic (52-54 Washway Road, Sale, M33 7QZ) run by Professor, Medical Doctor Mei Xing, Principal.
Now Doctor Borisova runs her own acupuncture clinic and helps people to improve their health condition.
